Hi, I can add a fair bit to this cars history from when it was in New Zealand as my father James Garth Forsyth used to own & race it. ( mainly in car club hill climb events )
I also have quite a few photo's of it when in my fathers ownership..., it's New Zealand registration number was CF1953.
I also see that it was for sale again recently in the October 2009 Classic & Sports Car magazine( full page Ad Inner rear cover) the Ad only mentions it's Australian history which is only partially correct...,

Was the original owner of this car possibly Gillie Tyrer of Litherland Motors. It is said he owned XKC059, but there is no 059! If the original registration number ended 9, I think it will be a "Yes".
